Worth knowing
- Conversion runs inside the browser; the server never receives the file.
- WAV is lossless: no further quality loss, at the cost of a bigger file.
- Decoding uses the browser codec; WAV encoding happens here.
- Sample rate can be kept, or resampled (say, everything to 44100 Hz).
- Downmix to mono when you need a smaller file.

Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Conversion uses the decoding and encoding built into your browser, and nothing is sent to the server. Open the Network panel in devtools to check for yourself.
Why is there no signup?
The server only serves a static page; it never touches your files. Without accounts there is nothing to log in to.
Can it handle batches?
Yes. Drop a batch, pick a target per file, then download individually or as a single zip.
Does WAV make the file bigger?
Much bigger: WAV is uncompressed, roughly 40 MB for a four-minute track. In exchange every editor can open it.
